Switch VFX is an award-winning boutique studio that provides exceptional digital visual effects for some of the best names in the industry including Universal Studios, Warner Brothers, Lionsgate, and Disney. Jon Campfens

Co-Founder Switch VFX / VFX Supervisor

Jon has over two decades of experience in the visual effects industry, beginning with Norman Jewison’s Moonstruck and David Cronenberg’s Dead Ringers. He began his career at Film Effects as an optical animation cameraman, worked for the National Film Board of Canada and then helped build the studio GVFX into the largest VFX facility in Canada gathering accolades along the way including an Emmy nomination, winning a Gemini, 5 Gemini nominations and an International Monitor Award. He was an independent VFX supervisor for several years before co-founding Switch VFX with the intention of creating an artist-led boutique studio that provides clients with the ability to interact directly with the artists.

Jon continues to work on independent art projects when not working on visual effects and secretly wishes that he will be asked to go on tour with Stranglers.

Pete Denomme

Co-Founder Switch Entertainment / VFX Producer

Pete began his career as a Production Manager for a 20th Century Fox animated feature before becoming the President and Executive Producer of Alliance Atlantis’ Animation and VFX company, a multiple award-winning studio both in visual effects and animation. While running Calibre Digital Pictures, the studio collectively won nearly 50 awards in the visual effects and animation categories at film and television festivals around the world.

Pete later became an official partner with the long-established Yowza Animation before successfully rebranding Yowza Digital as Switch Entertainment.

More than 30 years, 30 features, and something like 50 thousand television credits later, Pete continues to develop a full slate of co-productions and intellectual properties at both Switch VFX and Switch Animation.

Beau Parsons

Coordinator / On Set Supervisor

After Graduating from Sheridan’s Advanced Television and Film Program, Beau started at Switch in 2007. From On-Set Supervision, 3D Tracking, Compositing, and Co-ordination, Beau is able to slip in and out of different roles at any time. The majority of the time, Beau acts as the Co-ordinator at Switch VFX, as well as helping out with Supervision.

David Alexander

Lead CG Artist

David is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art (OCAD) and Sheridan College, where he studied 3D animation. After working for forever in post-production David has to his credit 3 Emmy Award nominations, 2 Gemini Award nominations, 2 International Monitor Awards and 1 Gemini Award, each for Best or Outstanding Special Effects. If asked for a preference he would prefer ale over lager.

Brandon Rogers

CG Artist / Digital Compositor

Brandon Rogers in our multiplatform brainchild performing both CG characters and backgrounds as well as digital compositions. After graduating from the Visual Effects program at Sheridan College, Brandon moved on to USC in California to study Cinematography.

In the rare moments not working on VFX, Brandon is in a mosh-pit or watching major league baseball.
